Pranic Healing - Chronic Stress Is Like Having a Flooded House
When we're younger, our bodies are typically very resilient and healthy. If we get flooded by emotions, stress, or trauma, our bodies are usually able to bounce back from it quickly. It's like if our house floods, we have the resources and energy to clean it up, fix wherever the water came in, and repair everything. As we get older, stress tends to build up and wear on us, especially if we're having chronic stress. It's like the house floods, we try to patch up the hole, but then we're too busy worrying about other places the water is seeping in instead of cleaning up the water and repairing things. We don't have the resources or energy to fully address the issue. When we're under chronic stress, then our bodies are really in fight or flight and dealing with the stress.
